Workshops and conferences
The Spanish-Portuguese Relativity Meetings are annual conferences on broad aspects of General Relativity and Gravitation that date back to 1977. They are organized on an annual basis by one of the different groups doing research on Relativity and Gravitation in Portugal and Spain. This year we will celebrate the 100 years of the Friedman equations, obtained by Alexander Friedman in 1922.
Teleparallel Universes in Salamanca
26-28 November 2018
This is a workshop devoted to different aspects of Teleparallel theories of gravity, including theoretical developments as well as applications in different scenarios (cosmology, dark energy, early universe, compact objects, black holes…). The aim of the workshop will be to have a few informal talks leading to active and fruitful discussions.
Spanish Astronomical Society Meeting
16-20 July 2018
The Spanish Astronomical Society (SEA) holds its XIII Meeting in the city of Salamanca from 16th to 20th July 2018. The conference will be held in the famous Hospedería del Colegio Arzobispo Fonseca and the adjacent Colegio Fonseca, contributing to the celebration of the 800th anniversary of the University of Salamanca.
